There is regular ferry service available between the Gateway of India to Mandwa Jetty after every half an hour in both ways. The ferry takes 50 to 60 minute to reach jetty. Also one can reach through ferry from Bhaucha Dhakka to Revas Port. The journey is fairly comfortable and is a unique experience. On the way you may accompany by sea gull birds, if you feed them, they will accompany you till journey end. The connecting buses are available from Mandwa Jetty to Alibaug.
Get down at Chondi naka and catch the local rikshaw to reach Arte Cottage at Kihim Beach, Alibaug.
By Road
Merely two and half hours scenic drive from Mumbai.
State transport buses reaching Alibag are aplenty. Some 35-40 buses ply to and from Mumbai. Alibag is also linked by state transport bus to destinations like Thane, Pune, Borivali, Nasik, Kolhapur, Miraj, Jalgaon, Sholapur etc. The state transport bus depot provides fairly efficient, in-time bus services.

How to reach us
The moment you reach alibaug, if you are travelling by your own vehicle, you need not enter the main ALIBAUG city and head straight towards Alibaug Mandwa Road.
If you are travelling by a bus (ST), you will be getting down at the main ALIBAG ST STAND. From here you can hire a GARUDA AUTORICKSHAW (It can accommodate upto 10 ppl) or if a small family can hire a simple autorickshaw and ask them to take you to Ranade High School, Thal, Alibaug.
